To place an advert on the Car Hunter web site, you will need to supply your name, e-mail address, location and postcode. You are also given the option of supplying mobile and home phone numbers. All personal information can be updated by the user at any time.

Vehicle Searches
In order to conduct a vehicle search, you will need to supply search criteria (eg. make, model, price, mileage etc). You may also enter your postcode to match adverts that fall within a set search radius (eg. less than 10 miles). This postcode information will not be stored, or used for anything other than the calculation of distances.

General
From time to time, we may contact you via email to inform you of new services, features or functionality of the Car Hunter website. You can opt-out of receiving these communications at any time by updating your profile.

Online Advertisements
Your name and phone number (if supplied) will be displayed as part of the vehicle advert. Potential buyers will be able to email you using a "contact the seller" page. By doing this, your email address remains hidden.

Registration

• A name is required to display on your adverts
• An email address is required to send your password to, allowing you to log into the website. This email address will also be used for Hunter Alert!, and the "Contact the Seller" features.
• A town and city is required to display the location of the car when placing adverts (eg Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire)
• A postcode is required to calculate distance, and will not be used for anything other than this.
